My dearest friends 30th birthday weekend was the perfect excuse to have a go at making my own table garland. I have been desperate for an event where I could give this table setting a go because I feel Tim might feel a tad uncomfortable if I set up our regular weeknight dinners in this way (too much no?) I was actually surprised at how simple it was to do and with a bunch of foliage and some simple roses, it came together quicker and easy than I would have thought!
I love celebrating and in recent times I’ve been considering that I shouldn’t really have to wait for a big birthday or a special occasion to give these things a go. Doesn’t hurt that we DID have a fabulous excuse to celebrate and after much planning, I was thrilled when the birthday girl was running a bit late and I scored a free 15 minutes at the house we were staying at to set it all up for her arrival. It was worth the sore finger tips after twisting the florist wire around and around and around and……!
Want to give it a go yourself? You should! Because your guests will be impressed and the details make all the difference. I found the best tutorial here
