Love Bug, Valentines Day

Valentines Day isn’t just for loving someone else. It’s for sprinkling your love everything. For loving you.  Top to bottom, left to right, today is the day we need to let a little more love into our lives.

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways – Elizabeth Barrett Browning

  • Fresh sheets
  • Fresh sheets when you’re hungover and you wake up feeling horrendous and appreciate your forethought to put fresh sheets on the bed
  • Hash browns
  • Spotting a hot balloon in the sky
  • When you find a new series on Netflix you love, and see it has multiple seasons (can I get a hallelujah?!)
  • Boarding a plane
  • Friendship…the kind that doesn’t leave you feeling drained
  • Getting smiled at awkwardly by strangers who think I am my twin sister. Tricked ya
  • Baby giggles
  • Baby anything. I love little humans
  • This statement…… “have you lost weight?”
  • Increasing your pocket money because your husband doesn’t clear out his pants before you do laundry
  • Weddings. Doesn’t matter who’s
  • Proper mail with a handwritten envelope
  • Creamy pasta… I actually adore you
  • Giant balloons
  • Getting a seat on peak hour public transport
  • Harry Potter
  • When you get extra fries from McDonalds because you sat in the front and held the bag on the drive home
  • Having someone else blow dry my hair
  • My husband
  • Long drives where you control the music
  • Lunches that turn into dinners at the same place (two meals without moving means I’m having a great time)
  • That feeling when you buy a lotto ticket and think for a hot minute that you might actually win
  • Confetti
  • Unknowingly ordering a drink when it’s happy hour. Make that two kind sir.
  • Lasagna that mum makes
  • Cinemas where you can drink
  • London
  • Finding a MAC lipstick in a clutch you haven’t used in a while
  • Getting holidays approved
  • This statement….. “food’s ready!”

I have a sneaking suspicion that the world’s love tank is a little empty at present, the least we could do is try to fill it up.

Happy Valentines Day x

Those balloons are so adorable! Also yes to hashbrowns and fresh sheets (and fluffed up doonas…)

A pink heart balloon never hurt anybody haha. I can never get my doona as fluffed up as the hotels, seriously, how do they do it!!!

We all need more of these things… the world is falling a part! (nothing a hashbrown can’t fix, surely?!??!)

Fresh sheets are the best, especially when you are tired or having a hangover. Love your photos, the pink balloons are so cute! x
